As per the report by Freedonia Group, Inc, a Cleveland-based research firm has reported that, the market demand for electronic security products in USA shall rise 6.9% every year, touching $15.5 billion by the year 2010. The growth is expected to zoom, due to high-perceived risk of crime among the people. Spending will be high on technically upgraded versions of existing security systems. Highest growth is expected in Access controls, because of technological innovations, which can replace guards. The demand for biometric access controls is projected to increase by ten-fold, over the next decade, touching the mark of $3.6 billion by 2015.
