For security and surveillance application, Securetex International is shipping a line of Linux-powered DVRs (Digital Video Recorders). The Network Advanced Video Surveillance - Embedded (NAVS-E) DVRs support 4, 8, or 16 cameras, offering simultaneous remote recording/playback/monitoring through Windows client and management software. Remote Windows-based client software can be used to simultaneously monitor, record, play-back, backup, and configure the devices, within the limitations of available network bandwidth.
Some of features of the E-NAVS products include:
